Most tools that audit a wiki sort it by date. That finds pages nobody has touched — which is not the same as pages that are wrong, and it misses the dangerous ones entirely. A page edited last week can still contradict the page next to it, quote a figure that changed two years ago, or send someone to a process that no longer exists.
Winnow reads the content. It reports pages that contradict each other, pages that state things which are no longer true, and pages that exist three times over — with the sentence that proves it, so an editor can check the claim in a couple of seconds rather than taking our word for it.
